Is the eSIMpass app free?
Yes. The app is free on the App Store and Google Play. You only pay for the eSIM plans you buy, in US dollars.
How does the app know if my iPhone works with eSIM?
It asks the phone itself. On iPhone, the app reads what iOS reports about the device in your hand, so you get a yes or no for your exact phone instead of scrolling a list of models.
Does it check if my phone is carrier-unlocked?
No. The app checks that your phone supports eSIM. To use our eSIM it also has to be unlocked: on iPhone, Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock should say "No SIM restrictions."
Can I see how much data I have left?
Yes. The app shows what’s left on every eSIM you hold, and on iPhone you can add a Home Screen widget to check it at a glance.
Can I top up from the app?
Yes. When you’re running low, add more data from the app, wherever you are.
Which iPhones can run the app?
Any iPhone on iOS 16.4 or later. Android users can get it on Google Play.
Do I need the app to use an eSIMpass eSIM?
No. You can buy on esimpass.us and install from the QR code we email you. The app just makes checking your phone, installing and topping up faster.
