Each Checkout link opens payment with that plan selected: only the email address and payment remain.

## How it works

1. Choose a plan and pay on the product page (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or crypto).
2. The eSIM QR code arrives by email; install it before you travel (Settings > Mobile/Cellular > Add eSIM).
3. On arrival, select the eSIM for mobile data and turn on data roaming for it. Your own SIM stays in the phone for calls and SMS.

Data-only: the eSIM has no phone number. Requires an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked phone.

## For travelers from the US: what US carriers charge in Canada

Many US plans already include Canada; check yours before buying an eSIM.

| Carrier | Cost in Canada | Details | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| AT&T | Included on Value 2.0 and up | Unlimited talk, text and data in and between the US, Canada and Mexico. | https://www.att.com/plans/wireless/ |
| Verizon | $6 a day (TravelPass) | myPlan Unlimited Welcome and Plus include Mexico and Canada with 2 GB of high-speed data a day. | https://www.verizon.com/plans/unlimited/myplan/ |
| Google Fi | Included on Unlimited Standard and Premium | Unlimited Essentials has no data abroad. | https://support.google.com/fi/answer/9462098 |
| Visible | Included on Visible+ and Visible+ Pro | 2 GB of data a day; the base Visible plan has no roaming data. | https://www.visible.com/plans |
| T-Mobile | Not quoted | Its pages could not be read when these were checked. | - |

## One eSIM for the whole of Canada

A single plan covers Canada coast to coast, so the same eSIM works in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and the Rockies. Install it before you fly and switch off airplane mode on arrival - no Canadian carrier store, no monthly plan you do not want.

## Getting online at Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal

The eSIM connects when you turn off airplane mode at Toronto (YYZ), Vancouver (YVR) or Montreal (YUL). Your rideshare, transit app and maps are ready before you reach the UP Express or SkyTrain into the city.

## Coverage in the cities, on the highways and in the Rockies

Canada's networks (Bell, Rogers and Telus) deliver 5G across the cities and strong coverage along the major highways. Canada is vast, though: in the mountain national parks - Banff, Jasper, the Icefields Parkway - and the far north, signal drops between towns, so download offline maps before long drives and hikes.

## FAQ

### Will one plan work in both Toronto and Vancouver?

Yes - it is a single nationwide plan, so the same eSIM works coast to coast with no need to switch.

### Is there coverage in Banff and the Rocky Mountain parks?

The towns and main roads (Banff, Jasper) are covered, but signal drops on remote stretches like the Icefields Parkway and backcountry trails. Download offline maps before heading out.
